| Can
you do custom orders? |
We
specialize in custom orders.
Bringing your dreams to life
is what we do.
We do not currently keep leathers
in stock.
All leather work is custom ordered. |
| What
can I expect to spend? |
Average
leather painting costs $300,
plus the cost of the jacket. |
| How
long will paint last? |
The
paint will last roughly 5 years
longer than your jacket...
I painted nearly a dozen leathers
around the same time in the
early '90's.
The jackets they're on have
worn completely through in several
areas.
However, their owners are refusing
to get new leathers
because there's nothing wrong
with the paint...
The more care of your leather
you take...the longer it'll
last |
| How
long will the work take? |
Depending
on the level of detail involved,
paint should take
between 6 and 10 business days. |
| How
is shipping handled? |
You
are responsible for all shipping
and insurance costs involved.
Including making sure your jacket
is received at our studios
prior to your paint's scheduled
start date.
U.P.S. is our prefered method
of shipment.
Shipping costs will be added
to your order
at the time your leather arrives. |
| Can
I wash my leather after it's been
painted? |
Absolutely.
After a period of 4 to 6 weeks
your leather
should be ready to be washed.
Use a soft towel and COLD water.
Be sure you wring as
much water out of the towel
as possible.
Gently spot rub the painted
area of the leather.
Make sure you do not rub any
one area for too long or
too hard. Also, allowing any
area of the paint to remain
very wet for a long period is
not good for the paint.
After cleaning your leather
you should apply a small
amount of leather conditioner
to the entire jacket.
Follow the instructions on the
bottle, but be sure to go
a little lighter when conditioning
the painted section.
NOTE: Heat, friction, and abuse
will damage not only
the paint, but the leather as
well. Raven's Wolf is not
responsible for damage caused
by abuse or mistreatment.
